Architecture

Danger! Theme Parks rides are like particle colliders – you need rocket scientists to prevent creating a black hole in your budget! We begin with the end in mind to avoid pitfalls throughout the project.

At IRMS, we believe that entertainment design is both art and science. We bring together virtuoso, technologist and engineer to create world-class entertainment.

Our talents can orchestrate creative vision, provide technical know-how, manage project schedule, and support your goals to ensure success.

Waterparks

Creating splashy attractions need not be a hair-raising experience!

Our proven track record in aquatic attractions and family-friendly water parks show our expertise and commitment to help our clients achieve their desired experiences without compromising safety.

Water Parks remain one of the most effective entertainment investments requiring the least amount of capital as it can be created on a smaller plot of land and relatively less expensive to maintain. IRMS ensures the capital is allocated and used effectively for the project’s success.

Attractions & Events

We design freestanding unique attractions and events that breathe new life into existing entertainment destination in need of increasing sales revenue through extended customer length of stay.

These wow features such as musical fountains, exploding volcanos or the next generation LBE are weave seamlessly into existing facilities with minimal disruptions to the everyday business.

An app-inspired VR zone or a surrealist sculptor park? Any theme is possible – limited only by our imagination and your budget .

Museums & Galleries

It starts off as a raw empty space, but in the minds of our creative team, a setting is firmly in place.

The way museums and galleries are designed affects how guests perceive it visually and navigate it spatially, in a subconscious way. This in turn affects the level of its economic success.

We bring together our experience in the software – the experiential design and narrative spaces and our knowledge in the hardware – from media and security to climate control and lighting systems, to usher you through a powerful journey.

Ideas & Concepts

A great guest experience begins with a great concept, and that is just what we do in the concept design phase! We put our best talents together to brainstorm, to conceptualize and to conceive.

A fresh idea is the foundation of the entertainment business. In putting together the puzzle pieces, IRMS strives to create amazing experiences for your visitors and practical solutions for your operators.

Our design process considers practical matters, it is all about the ability to bring a good idea into reality.

Master Plans & Intergrated Resorts

Today’s savvy developers use entertainment to anchor and differentiate large developments. With our deep background in the design of mixed-use development as well as our entertainment expertise, we can provide an integrated solution for your planning needs.

IRMS’ master plan serves to define the project’s look and feel, land usage and operational needs, to provide important guidance for designers, contractors and business owners.

Working in sync with all the stakeholders, we ensure the synergy that design provides will translate into thoughtful master and integrated resort planning.

Environmental Graphics & Wayfinding

Signs and Way-finding are the icing on the cake, the final details that make entertainment environments come to life.

Sensitivity to signs and typography brings another layer to the entertainment venue’s design language, further reinforcing the theme, era, and locale.

We are sensitive to how diverse users will respond to signs and way-finding visuals. We conduct extensive research to ensure cultural elements are properly translated into the design.

Design Values Methodology

MARKET1111111

At IRMS, we start with the basics – what are the goals of the project? We want to understand your brand, primary markets and demographics, so that we can develop solutions to meet your needs and overall vision.

CLIENT

Meeting the goals of the client is a primary focus of IRMS’ design and project delivery methodology. Collaborative communication is the key to eliciting goals, strategies, positioning, and other elements that are unique to each project and each client’s situation.

ENVIRONMENT

The information about the project’s site location has a huge influence on the type of development and overall experience. Responding to environmental factors such as rain, snow, humidity, temperature, wind, etc., have a tremendous impact that must be addressed in the design process to ensure the optimal outcome. Culture also plays a part in the environment, and the design solutions take into consideration how the end product is functional and appeals to the local culture.

CREATIVITY

Important input from clients and consultants is creativity. The quality of the brief, the consultants’ expertise, the socio-economic viewpoint of the project, all formed the foundation from which creativity can be exercised. Ensuring all project stakeholders are aligned in terms of the creative outcome, ranging from classic (time-tested) solutions to cutting-edge never-been-done before an innovation is critical during the design process.

VISION

IRMS begins each project with an overarching vision which serves to translate the intangible concept into reality. Vision development requires inputs from different departments, sources, project stakeholders to map out the overall direction and objective of the project such as to entertain, inspire, impress and engage.

STORY

To capture the imagination of customers, a project requires a cohesive viewpoint, story, and external expression of creativity. So as to form an emotional connection with each customer, IRMS researches evergreen stories and themes in the cultural psyche and derives common themes to form the foundation of each project’s story.

SOLUTIONS

Our designers and leaders have extensive experience in designing for new and existing theme parks. We have the expertise in marketing and operating theme parks, and these knowledge are evident in our design solution. We believe in providing long-term value for our clients.

BUSINESS

The result of our design is a new business formulated for clients with no experience in building, operating or marketing a themed entertainment attraction. Thus, we see it as a journey with our client, and we want to do our best at every stage to maximise efficiency, minimize capital expenditure on elements that do not provide a return on investment, and the funds are focused on aspects of the project which have measurable results or operational efficiency.
